The facilities kept failing in the lab sessions too.
This is a problem across the board unfortunately. Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware all (in my country at least) utilize the same testing facilities and software. I've sat through my Microsoft exams with a desktop that crashed multiple times (and the clock keeps ticking while you sit there waiting for access to the exam again), offered obviously broken questions (like "select two of the following", with a radio box where you could only select one), and Cisco certifications where diagrams didn't render. Thus I was unsurprised to find both my VCP4 and VCP5 exams were complete disasters from the testing point of view. In one case I made a booking for 9am, then noone showed up to open the business until 9:40, then she couldn't get the server running until 10:30. She tells me that, because the center is usually empty, she never feels bad coming in late.
Testing facilities absolutely need to lift their game and it's not a VMware problem.
I'd surely point out that you managed to bump a nearly two year old post when discussing your experience - surely if you were relying on information initially in this thread, that would be your problem.
